Version control, who needs it?

One the key questions for any system is:

1. What has changed?
2. Who has changed it?
3. Why did they do it?

Modern version control such as git (or fossil) work fine but they should be integrated into the edge of the network. Laot provides such a facility so that they you ask:

1. What are the changes in the parameters to the system since it was commissioned.
2. When did the parameter change?
3. What was the temperature during commissioning.

And with the usual keywords: bitchain, merkle tree, ....
