No. Like any authentication, this can stop the system from accepting an unauthorised person as authorised. But it is no help if the attack compromises the OS that’s underneath. -- Gernot

2FA just means I need to compromise your tablet/phone first, this is not hard for an advance penetration threat, just load the dropper, await for 2FA, continue. -- Phil
