This site contains information on microgrids and renewable energy including presentations, books and videos. These are all available for general use and might be of some interest to your new apprentice, manager or PhD candidate.

Note that as of 25AUG2022 Phil is working full-time for GE Power Portfolio as Microgrid Architect for APAC and that this site is definitely not formally endorsed by GE. All material is opensource. Drop me a line at phil.maker at ge.com for GE things

There is a great new ACEP video on Daly River which is well worth a look. Its one of the few tours of a complete microgrid showing all the components in 15m that I've seen. The gentle reader might also be interested in SET-101 which provides a practical introduction to the area and was produced by REMHART at CDU. You might also be interested in the ACEP Test Facility or recent NEWS. Phil also did a talk on Laot at UNSW on 15AUG22, see talks.

Note: the pictures above link to the various projects

This site contains both information on EDS projects as well as general industry information such as presentations and handbooks. You might be interested in Battery Test Results or "trustworthy man in the middle defence" for ICS (laot-pub)

"I KEEP six honest serving-men (They taught me all I knew); Their names are What and Why and When And How and Where and Who. I send them over land and sea, I send them east and west; But after they have worked for me, I give them all a rest" -- Rudyard Kipling
